John DiGiovanni

John DiGiovanni is a Development Advisor to AZ Avenue Partners and a veteran retail and mixed-use development executive whose career spans development, leasing, and national tenant relationships.

John began his development career as Senior Vice President of Development for BVT, a Munich-based syndication company that raised equity to fund new development and the acquisition of existing retail and office properties. There, his team developed approximately 500,000 square feet of mixed-use projects throughout the Southeast, and he helped create and maintain the project reporting and tracking protocols required by investors and the Board of Directors.

In 2003, John joined Inland Retail Real Estate Trust, Inc. as Senior Vice President of an Inland Retail property management affiliate, and in 2004 he was promoted to Senior Vice President of Inland Retail's newly created development division.

Over more than 20 years across the Inland companies, John rose to President of Inland Atlantic Development Corp., where he was responsible for identifying and facilitating new development projects and overseeing day-to-day development operations, while maintaining relationships and leading lease negotiations with national tenants.

Most recently, John served as Chief Development Officer at Intrepid Development Company.

Today, as a Development Advisor to AZ Avenue Partners, he brings that experience to bear on the firm's development operations and national tenant relationships.

John holds the Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM) designation awarded by the International Council of Shopping Centers and is a licensed salesperson in the State of Florida.
